No one saw this phase coming wherein a deadly virus would come into the picture and destroy our lives totally. Not just this, COVID-19 virus took away our loved ones but for some of us, it took away our jobs. Many of us have been left with nothing – no jobs, no source of employment, no career at all. We understand how disappointed such a situation could be that not even the best of flowers, gifts like chocolate hamper could even bring a smile on our face. But as the damage has been done, let’s not crib about it anymore and let’s start working on ourselves for ourselves. Here are a few ways to rebuild your career during this remorseful scenario. 

  1. Where To Find Jobs From – One of the questions that are currently hovering in our mind is where to look for jobs at this point in time. Try online platforms like Naukri.com, LinkedIn, Shine.com, Indeed, Glassdoor to look for various relevant job listings. You will get many jobs that fit your qualifications and expectations. And the interested companies will contact you over the phone number provided by you. It could be from a renowned brand or some reputed online gift store which is known for offering some of the best gifts for husband and other such relations. Check the background of the company and then only allow to prevent any potential scams. 
  2. Prepare For The Application Process – No matter how much you think you know about your field, there would be something new as the last time you applied for a job and appeared for an interview would be a decade now. So, with changing times, new things in your own field might have come up hence prepare those topics and concepts – so that if the interviewer asks any such questions, you are prompt enough to answer him/her confidently. Also, make sure to update your CV or resume along with your cover letter with your new skills and other necessary details that might get you the attention of the interviewer amidst the scenario.
